COLUMBIA – South Carolina Pediatric Alliance has been named Best Pediatric Practice in South Carolina in the annual Guide to South Carolina Best of South Carolina awards, an honor determined through statewide public voting.
The annual awards recognize businesses and organizations that make a meaningful impact on the communities they serve. For the South Carolina Pediatric Alliance (SCPA), the recognition reflects the trust families have placed in the organization and highlights its commitment to providing quality pediatric care throughout the Midlands.
“This recognition means so much because it comes from the communities we serve,” said Mark Delahunty, chief executive officer of SCPA. “Every day, our physicians, providers, nurses and staff have the privilege of caring for children and supporting families through some of life’s most important moments. To be recognized as South Carolina’s Best Pediatric Practice is both humbling and rewarding, and we are grateful to everyone who voted for us.”
One of the Midlands’ largest independent pediatric healthcare networks, SCPA serves thousands of families each year through its growing network of pediatric providers and care centers. The organization also works to improve children’s health outcomes by expanding access to care, including offering evening hours at its Turtle Twilight Pediatric Clinic, while promoting healthier communities across South Carolina.
“This award belongs to our entire team and to the families who trust us with their children’s care,” Delahunty said. “We are proud to be part of so many communities and remain committed to delivering the compassionate, high-quality care that families deserve.”
The South Carolina Pediatric Alliance was formed in 2015 when the physicians of Sandhills Pediatrics and Palmetto Pediatrics, two of South Carolina’s largest independent pediatric practices, joined together to create a statewide pediatric healthcare network focused on innovation, convenience and compassionate care.
