CAYCE – The Junior League of Columbia invites the community to pick up a paddle and join its 2nd Annual Pickleball Tournament, presented by ProMotion Rehab and Sports Medicine, on April 24–25 at the Cayce Pickleball Complex.

The two-day event blends friendly competition with fundraising efforts supporting the Junior League’s mission of advancing women’s leadership through volunteerism, collaboration and training.

Festivities begin Thursday, April 24, with the “Play It Forward Kickoff Party” from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Guests can enjoy open play, heavy hors d’oeuvres, an open bar and a raffle featuring prizes, while connecting with fellow pickleball enthusiasts.

Tournament play follows on Friday, April 25, featuring both single-gender doubles and mixed doubles divisions for a variety of skill levels. Participants may register for one or both events.

“We are thrilled to bring the community together again for a weekend of fun, fitness and philanthropy,” said Libby Mathias, co-chair of the tournament. “This event highlights the growing popularity of pickleball while supporting our mission to empower women leaders and strengthen our community.”

Registration is open through April 20. Community members are also encouraged to attend the kickoff event or support the tournament through sponsorships and donations.
