Lexington Police Department Foundation and Lexington Police Department will present a benefit concert at the Icehouse Amphitheater on Friday, May 15, 2026, to raise funds supporting officer wellness initiatives.
Headlining the evening will be Idlewild Revival, an eight-member Charleston-based tribute group honoring the music of the The Allman Brothers Band. Band members include Wayne Mitchum on bass, JT Rollerson and Wes Powers on drums, Bill Nance on keyboards, Tim Kirkendall on vocals, Michael Davis and Rev. Dr. Johnny Mac on guitar, and Bobby Alvarez on percussion.
Opening the concert at 6:30 p.m. will be Schoolboy Johnny, performing classic hits from Bad Company.
The event is made possible through sponsorship support from Comfort Home Health Care
as the Chief Level sponsor and Herndon Chevrolet
along with Pro-Tow
as Major Level sponsors.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the Icehouse Pavilion, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the foundation. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Amphitheater rules prohibiting outside food, drinks, and freestanding chairs will be enforced. The concert will be held rain or shine.
Tickets are $25 and available online.
Proceeds from the event will support officer wellness programs as part of the department’s ongoing multi-year strategic plan focused on enhancing public safety in the Lexington community.
