LEXINGTON COUNTY – Nicholas Uveges has been promoted to deputy chief of Lexington County Fire & Life Safety with the Lexington County Fire Service.
In his new role, Uveges will oversee fire inspections, fire permitting and investigations. His responsibilities will also include scheduling and conducting fire and life safety presentations, coordinating smoke alarm installations and participating in public relations events throughout the county.
The Lexington County Fire Service expressed appreciation for Uveges’ continued dedication and service to the citizens of Lexington County.
