The photo demonstrates a fully extended right arm at about eye level. At this point in the swing, both the arm and the club are aimed toward the intended target.
Rather than overthinking swing mechanics—backswing fundamentals, transition techniques, or how to start the downswing—try focusing on simply swinging toward your target. Adopting a more target-oriented mindset can make the game feel more natural and intuitive.
You may discover that you can hit the ball just as straight as you can point. Look at your target… and swing!
