SC Philharmonic to Light Up the Sky with Music and Fireworks
COLUMBIA – A dazzling Independence Day celebration is set for Tuesday, July 2 as the South Carolina Philharmonic returns to Segra Park for its popular Fireworks with the Phil concert.
This family-friendly event combines patriotic music, an extended fireworks finale, and ballpark fun to kick off the Fourth of July holiday in grand style.
Gates open at 6 p.m., and the SC Philharmonic will take the stage at 8 p.m. The highlight of the night—a spectacular fireworks show synchronized to Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture—will begin around 9:15 p.m. to conclude the concert.
Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy ballpark concessions, and children can explore the SCU Kids Zone, which will be open from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Tickets are $10 per seat in the stadium’s seating bowl, with a $2 discount for military members. A limited number of suites, club seats, and bullpen boxes are also available for those looking for a premium experience. Ticket prices increase by $2 on July 2, so attendees are encouraged to purchase early.
Prisma Health is the event’s grand sponsor, helping to bring this exciting celebration to the heart of Columbia.
