Annual celebration features parade, peach treats, live music, antique cars and fireworks.
The Lexington County Peach Festival returns to Gilbert on Friday, July 4, bringing a full day of family-friendly activities celebrating Independence Day and the county’s agricultural heritage.
Hosted by the Gilbert Community Club, the annual festival is free to attend and features a variety of attractions, with the peach remaining the centerpiece of the community tradition.
The day begins with the Peach Parade at 9:30 a.m., followed by festivities throughout Gilbert Community Park. Festivalgoers can enjoy fresh peach treats, local craft vendors, food trucks, an antique car show, live entertainment and an evening fireworks display.
Admission is free. Festival parking is available for $5 per vehicle, with all parking proceeds benefiting student organizations from Gilbert-area schools that organize and operate the parking lots.
Gilbert Community Park is located at 110 Rikard Circle in Gilbert.
Because of road closures associated with the parade, organizers recommend arriving before 9 a.m. or after 10:30 a.m. to avoid the heaviest traffic.
