Luxury Clothier Pearce Bespoke-Charlotte provides the custom jackets for the S.C. Military Veterans Hall of Fame

Saturday night, June 6, at Fort Jackson was one I will never forget.
Pearce Bespoke Charlotte provided the custom jackets for inductees into the S.C. Military Veterans Hall of Fame inductees (Classes 2025 and 2026) during a ceremony attended by more than 350 guests from across the state.
The evening celebrated veterans whose service, sacrifice, and leadership helped shape South Carolina and our country. It was a powerful event filled with incredible stories, meaningful recognition, and a deep appreciation for those who have served.
The jackets themselves carried significance beyond just clothing. Hall of Fame Executive Director Jay Alverson and his wife Brandi envisioned something unique for the Hall’s inductees — a jacket that Hall of Famers could wear with pride for years to come. Brandi was especially passionate about creating something more personal and lasting than a traditional award or plaque. The final design featured a beautiful Reda Milano wool fabric with rich burgundy and blue tones along with a custom S.C. Military Veterans Hall of Fame crest and custom lining created specifically for the classes of 2025 and 2026.
One of the most meaningful moments of the evening for me personally was having the opportunity to present the jacket to longtime family friend Charles Schulze as he was inducted into the Hall of Fame alongside his father, Dusty Schulze, who was honored posthumously.
Dusty was a true American hero — the kind of man they make movies about.
While Pearce Bespoke Charlotte was proud to provide the jackets, the night was ultimately about honoring lives defined by service, sacrifice, leadership, and legacy. I’m grateful to Jay, Brandi, and the entire South Carolina Military Veterans Hall of Fame leadership team for allowing us to play a small role in such a special event.
