The South Carolina Brewer’s Guild (SCBG) is excited to host their annual beer festival with a fresh new name—Crafted in Carolina: A Celebration of South Carolina’s Brewers and Artisans. Formerly known as “Hop Forward,” this event will take place on Saturday, October 12, from 3 – 7 p.m. at Segra Park, located at 1640 Freed Street in Columbia. VIP ticket holders will be granted early access starting at 2 p.m.

The festival will feature breweries from across South Carolina, an artisan market, live music by Josh Daniel’s Grateful Band and Bad Stars, and a family-friendly zone with activities for children. Attendees can also participate in educational sessions such as “Craft Beer 101” and “Beer Across America,” which will be offered twice during the event.

Tickets are available in four tiers: VIP, General Admission, Market Access, and Child Tickets.

“Our goal is to highlight South Carolina’s finest craft beer each year, but this time we’re also celebrating the state’s vibrant artisan community,” said SCBG President Steve Tolson. “We’re thrilled to expand the festival with the artisan market and family activities, making it a fun day for everyone.”
