The SC Green Industry Association will bring together more than 70 exhibitors and nine industry speakers to cover a range of landscape topics during a two-day Conference and Trade Show held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on January 28 and 29.

The Trade Show and education seminars will run from 7:15 am – 4:30 pm January 28 and from 7:30 am – 2 pm January 29. Up to $10,000 in college scholarships will also be awarded at the event to students planning a future in the landscape industry.

Landscape industry professionals are able to choose from presentations including Identification and Management of Invasive Insects and Plants, Plant Growth Regulators, Harvesting & Relocation of Large Plant Materials, Ten Tips for Water Savings in Irrigation Systems, Lighting Guidelines and Techniques, and Landscape Business & Technology in the Green Industry.

Attendees can earn continuing education credit hours for the following certifications: South Carolina Pesticide, North Carolina Pesticide, International Society of Arboriculture, North Carolina Irrigation, and Landscape Architect. In addition to earning credit hours, attendees will receive a Trade Show pass and lunch on Thursday and a Trade Show pass and complimentary snack and beverage cart on Friday.

SC Green will be complying with all recommended safety guidelines from the Convention Center including social distancing, temperature checks at the entrance, capacity restrictions in each room, and requiring masks at all times inside the building. Attendees will receive a SC Green logo mask.
