The critically acclaimed duo The War and Treaty—husband and wife Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter—will perform a one-night-only concert on November 1 at Harbison Theatre, bringing their soulful blend of roots rock, Americana, and country to South Carolina. Known for their powerful performances, The War and Treaty have earned Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best American Roots Song for “Blank Page,” along with recognition from the Country Music Association and Americana Music Association, and appearances at legendary venues like the Grand Ole Opry.
“We’re thrilled to offer audiences the rare chance to see this powerhouse duo in an intimate setting,” says Harbison Theatre Executive Director Kristin Cobb. “After seeing them live at St. Pat’s in Five Points, I knew their talent and energy would be an unforgettable experience in our 400-seat theater.”
The Kentucky Gentlemen, an up-and-coming duo blending country, R&B, and pop, will open the show. Named a 2023 “Artist to Watch” by NPR, they are known for hits “Vibin’” and “Whatever You’re Up For.”
The performance begins at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are available at HarbisonTheatre.org or by calling the box office at 803-407-5011.
