Born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Scott’s legacy is marked by his exceptional contributions to upholding American Democracy, his commitment to Conservative Values, and his commitment to military service.
Scott Malyerck’s journey began at the University of South Carolina, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government. After graduation, he returned to his home state of New Hampshire, where he played an instrumental role in re-electing Governor John Sununu. Scott’s talents and dedication were quickly recognized, leading him to assume pivotal positions in the Sununu administration, including the directorship of the Governor’s Office on Volunteerism. His remarkable leadership abilities paved the way for his appointment as the Director of the New Hampshire State Republican Party, where he masterminded historic electoral triumphs.
In 1990, Scott returned to South Carolina, delving into advertising and establishing Crescent Creative, a notable political consulting firm. Scott Malyerck’s commitment to his beloved Palmetto State continued to flourish, leading him to become the Executive Director of the South Carolina Republican Party. As Director, he played an instrumental role in solidifying South Carolina’s status as the “First in the South” Presidential Primary.
Scott would later be appointed and serve in state government as the Deputy State Treasurer, contributing to the state’s financial stability. In 1998, Scott’s philanthropic spirit led him to found the Lexington County Sheriff’s Foundation, a testament to his dedication to community service. His leadership of the foundation for eight years showcased his commitment to improving the lives of men and women in law enforcement and his fellow South Carolinians.
In 2003, Governor Mark Sanford appointed Scott to the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs Council of Advisors on Consumer Credit.
Following his family’s deep-rooted military heritage, epitomized by his father, Staff Sergeant Mike Malyerck, who valiantly served in World War II, Scott proudly served as a member of the South Carolina State Guard (SCSG) and achieved the rank of Liteaunant Colonel. He would later be assigned to a newly created role as Special Projects Chief of SCSG’s Media Team.
In addition to his political and military accomplishments, Scott Malyerck has been a Principal of the consulting firm Momentum National since 2011, further demonstrating his expertise in various domains.
