The fifth annual Cottontown Art Crawl will welcome 140 artists to show and sell their original work in the downtown Columbia neighborhood of Cottontown.
The event will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 10 am to 4 pm with more art, more artists, and more food for visitors than ever before. This event is entirely outdoors and spread over several city blocks. The rain date is March 12 from noon – 6 pm.
“The Cottontown neighborhood is looking forward to supporting the Columbia arts scene on March 11th,” said organizer Julie Seel. “Artists will be selling their work throughout the entire neighborhood. Some of the artists are emerging, some are quite accomplished, and some are award winning, juried artists. So, we truly have something for every level of art enthusiast.”
While artists are located throughout the neighborhood, the corridor is intended to be more accessible to individuals with mobility issues. Cola Town Bike Collective will be hosting a bike valet for parking your bike at the event and Blue Bikes will be available for use as well.
The event is free and open to the public. It will also feature live music featuring local bands and performers. The stage will be located on the 2200 block of Sumter Street in front of Indah Coffee.

In addition to neighborhood restaurants serving lunch and dinner during the event, there will be five food trucks parked on the 2500 block of Sumter Street; Mary’s Arepas, Cafe Strudel, Hott Mess, Cheese and Thank You, and The Wurst Wagen.
The main host station will be located at NoMa Warehouse at 2222 Sumter Street, where information and maps will be available. Maps will also be available at specially marked boxes throughout the neighborhood.
