The South Carolina Philharmonic (SC Phil), in partnership with Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union, is offering a new ticket discount program for South Carolina educators.
The Palmetto Citizens Educator Discount provides a 50 percent discount on tickets for SC Phil concerts held at the Koger Center for the Arts. The discount is available to all educators, including those from public schools, private schools, and homeschool groups.
Educators can access the discount by visiting the South Carolina Philharmonic’s website at scphilharmonic.com/education/ and browsing eligible events. When selecting seats for SC Phil concerts at the Koger Center, teachers can enter the promo code PCTeacher2526, and the discount will be applied at checkout.
“The South Carolina Philharmonic is committed to making music accessible for everyone,” said Chad Henderson, marketing director for the SC Phil. “While our mission focuses on providing students with unique music education programs, we also wanted to honor and thank the educators who dedicate their lives to enriching students across South Carolina. Partnering with Palmetto Citizens has made this possible.”
Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union partners with the SC Phil to support educational opportunities for thousands of students throughout the Midlands. Through this collaboration, both organizations aim to expand access to music education and cultural programming.
“Palmetto Citizens was founded by local educators nearly 90 years ago, and that legacy continues to guide our work today,” said Emilie Lewis, director of community engagement. “Partnering with the South Carolina Philharmonic to offer an educator discount is a meaningful way to say thank you and recognize the lasting impact teachers have on students and our communities.”
