COLUMBIA – Discount admission and ride tickets are now on sale for the 2025 South Carolina State Fair, returning to Columbia October 8–19. Fairgoers can save up to 50 percent by purchasing in advance, now through October 7, at participating Circle K locations or online at SCStateFair.org.

“Your South Carolina State Fair is all about creating memories with family and friends,” said Nancy Smith, general manager of the fair. “By purchasing tickets early, you can enjoy big savings and look forward to 12 days of rides, food, exhibits and entertainment.”

Discount admission tickets are $10 at Circle K or $11 online (regularly $15–$20 during the fair). Discount ride vouchers are $32 at Circle K or $33 online (regularly $40–$42). Ride vouchers can be exchanged for a Pay-One-Price (POP) wristband for unlimited rides or for 90 ride tickets on a reloadable card, valid for one day of unlimited fun.

Highlights of the 2025 Fair

  • Theme: Harvesting Happiness – celebrating South Carolina’s agricultural roots and community spirit.

  • Entertainment: Nearly 70 rides, free daily circus, roving performers, Pepsi Place Stage acts, racing pigs, petting zoo, and hands-on demos at Heritage Village.

  • Special Guest: Celebrity chef and TV host Sandra Lee will kick off opening day, October 8, and stay through October 9 for food competitions and events.

  • Food: Fifteen new foods join the midway classics, including Surf N Turf Alfredo Sundae, Reuben Sandwich Pizza, Buffalo Chicken & Bacon Pimento Cheese Fries, and a Deep-Fried Cheesecake Trio.

  • Exhibits:

    • Anne Frank: A History for Today – a traveling exhibit bringing her story to life, located in the Cantey Building.

    • SC250 Revolutionary War Exhibit – immersive displays, reenactors, and hands-on activities, located in the Ruff Building.

“At its heart, the S.C. State Fair is a celebration of our state’s people, culture, and traditions,” Smith said. “We can’t wait to welcome everyone back this October to share in the joy of Harvesting Happiness together.”
