Sharing God’s Love will hold its 11th annual BBQ fundraiser Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Coldwell Banker’s Irmo\/Lake Murray office, 7464 Woodrow St. in Irmo.<\/p>\n
Donations will be rewarded with a pulled pork BBQ plate with all the fixings. Guests can dine at the office or use the drive-thru.<\/p>\n
Proceeds will support the community outreach efforts of Sharing God’s Love, which has served families in the Midlands since 1984.<\/p>\n
Beginning with a few local churches in Irmo, the organization has grown to provide families facing emergencies with basic necessities, including food, shelter, clothing and financial assistance.<\/p>\n
In 2025, Sharing God’s Love served nearly 12,000 people representing 3,866 families.<\/p>\n
The Christian-based 501(c)(3) charitable organization does not receive federal, state or United Way funding and relies on community support to continue its mission.<\/p>\n
