For a right-handed golfer, that &#8220;V&#8221; should point toward your <strong>right shoulder<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">In this case, the player&#8217;s &#8220;V&#8221; was pointing more toward his <strong>left shoulder<\/strong>, creating a weak grip. The result was a high, weak fade. To compensate, he had learned to swing from <strong>outside to inside<\/strong>, sending the ball well left before it sliced back toward the target&mdash;sometimes finishing in the fairway, but never consistently.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">After strengthening his grip, the slice disappeared. However, because he was still making the same outside-in swing, his shots became pulls to the left.
