Friday night opens with <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Martin Bejerano<\/span><\/span>, followed by <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">SYR<\/span><\/span>, delivering a blend of Celtic folk rock and roots music. Saturday&rsquo;s performances showcase a range of voices and sounds, including the artistry of <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Brittany Turnipseed<\/span><\/span>, trumpet-driven jazz from <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Willie Bradley<\/span><\/span>, the grooves of <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Folderol<\/span><\/span>, the vocals of <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Lucia<\/span><\/span>, and a finale by <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Endea Owens<\/span><\/span> from The Cookout.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1084\" data-end=\"1469\">&ldquo;Our future vision is to be the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">New Orleans Jazz &amp; Heritage Festival<\/span><\/span> of the Carolinas,&rdquo; said <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Mark Rapp<\/span><\/span>. &ldquo;By transitioning to a &lsquo;Jazz &amp; Roots&rsquo; festival, we are laying the foundation for exponential growth.
