{"id":8275,"date":"2026-03-26T13:13:46","date_gmt":"2026-03-26T13:13:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gpstrianglenews.com\/index.php\/2026\/03\/26\/dining-on-the-dam-to-close-lake-murray-dam-parks-sunday\/"},"modified":"2026-03-26T13:13:46","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T13:13:46","slug":"dining-on-the-dam-to-close-lake-murray-dam-parks-sunday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gpstrianglenews.com\/index.php\/2026\/03\/26\/dining-on-the-dam-to-close-lake-murray-dam-parks-sunday\/","title":{"rendered":"Dining on the Dam to Close Lake Murray Dam, Parks Sunday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"175\" data-end=\"407\">LEXINGTON, S.C. &mdash; <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Dining on the Dam<\/span><\/span> returns Sunday, March 29 from 5&ndash;9 p.m., bringing hundreds of guests to the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Lake Murray Dam<\/span><\/span> for an evening of dining, live entertainment, and sunset views.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"409\" data-end=\"702\">&ldquo;The Chamber is excited to host our annual Dining on the Dam event,&rdquo; said <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Angelle LaBorde<\/span><\/span>, president and CEO of the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center<\/span><\/span>. &ldquo;Dining on the Dam offers a unique atmosphere for people to mix and mingle while enjoying an unforgettable evening.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"latucf\" data-start=\"704\" data-end=\"730\">Road and Park Closures<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"732\" data-end=\"980\">The top portion of the dam, including the pedestrian walkway, will be closed to all traffic beginning at 6 a.m. Sunday and will reopen after midnight.
