The 5th annual Cola Rosé Shower<\/strong> returns on February 7<\/strong> at Williams-Brice Stadium’s Traditions Club<\/strong> (1125 George Rogers Boulevard) from 3 to 7 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This pink-powered event blends fun, fashion, and philanthropy<\/strong> while raising awareness of women’s health issues. Guests must be 21 or older<\/strong> to attend. Individual tickets start at $80<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Feminine hygiene product donations will be collected to benefit Sistercare<\/strong> and The Period Project<\/strong>, supporting women and girls with limited resources throughout the Midlands.<\/p>\n

According to the 2024 KFF Women’s Health Survey<\/strong>, half of women in the United States ages 18–64 report having an ongoing medical condition that requires monitoring, care, or medication. That number increases with age, from 41 percent<\/strong> of women ages 18–49 to 65 percent<\/strong> of women ages 50–64. Nearly one in five women<\/strong> report that their health condition limits their ability to fully participate in daily activities.<\/p>\n

Period poverty remains a significant issue as well. Research from Period.org<\/strong> shows that 37 percent of women<\/strong> in the U.S. have experienced period poverty at some point in their lives, often forcing choices between food and menstrual products. In South Carolina, one in five women and girls ages 12–44<\/strong> live below the federal poverty line, and one in four students<\/strong> struggles to afford period products—leading to embarrassment, mental health challenges, and unsafe substitutions.<\/p>\n

Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite shade of pink while enjoying unlimited rosé and frosé<\/strong>, a culinary experience by Southern Way Catering<\/strong>, and music by Shejay T.O.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Whether you are battling cancer, fibroids, endometriosis, infertility, hysterectomy, menopause, or proudly standing with the women who are, this is a space where every woman is seen, heard, and celebrated,” said Deonna Wylie<\/strong>, founder of Cola Rosé Shower. “This event was born from resilience and love—love for our community and for every woman on her own healthcare journey. When we support each other, we rise together and change lives.”<\/p>\n
