Now in its third year, the holiday-themed variety concert showcases an exciting mix of musical and theatrical talent from across the Midlands.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"864\" data-end=\"1465\">This year&rsquo;s performance features vocalists <strong data-start=\"907\" data-end=\"920\">Cat Gal&aacute;n<\/strong> (<em data-start=\"922\" data-end=\"933\">Stankface<\/em>, Boomtown Trio), <strong data-start=\"951\" data-end=\"969\">Edwin Hamilton<\/strong> (SC Jazz Masterworks Ensemble), <strong data-start=\"1002\" data-end=\"1019\">Katie Leitner<\/strong> (Say Femme), and opera singer <strong data-start=\"1050\" data-end=\"1068\">Johnnie Felder<\/strong>. The evening also includes dance performances by <strong data-start=\"1118\" data-end=\"1140\">Cola Rep Dance Co.<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1145\" data-end=\"1165\">CCJ Conservatory<\/strong>. Local Elvis tribute artist <strong data-start=\"1194\" data-end=\"1209\">Bernie Love<\/strong> will close out the first act, and <strong data-start=\"1244\" data-end=\"1275\">The Columbia Choral Society<\/strong> joins the orchestra for a dynamic and festive second act. Trumpeter <strong data-start=\"1344\" data-end=\"1357\">Mark Rapp<\/strong> (Cola Jazz) will make a guest appearance, and even <strong data-start=\"1409\" data-end=\"1418\">Santa<\/strong> will stop in for last-minute Christmas wishes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1467\" data-end=\"1864\">A collaborative creation between Nakahara and director <strong data-start=\"1522\" data-end=\"1540\">Chad Henderson<\/strong>, former Artistic Director of Trustus Theatre and current Marketing Director of the SC Phil, <em data-start=\"1633\" data-end=\"1656\">Home for the Holidays<\/em> brings together artists from across the region for a joyful, high-energy celebration of the season. The 2025 program promises an energetic blend of music that highlights the depth and breadth of the local arts community.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2171\" data-end=\"2637\">&ldquo;This concert is a high-energy night that demonstrates the incredible talent in our community,&rdquo; said Director <strong data-start=\"2281\" data-end=\"2299\">Chad Henderson<\/strong>. &ldquo;Planning this show each year is a joy, and we&rsquo;re returning with an even larger slate of performers who are hometown favorites. I&rsquo;m especially excited about welcoming our own local Elvis tribute artist, Bernie Love, to close out the first act. We&rsquo;re going to play <em data-start=\"2565\" data-end=\"2590\">Also sprach Zarathustra<\/em> and do the full Vegas opening and everything.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2639\" data-end=\"3248\">Audiences can look forward to timeless holiday favorites, including <strong data-start=\"2707\" data-end=\"2777\">&ldquo;The Christmas Song,&rdquo; &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll Be Home for Christmas,&rdquo; &ldquo;Sleigh Ride,&rdquo;<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2782\" data-end=\"2829\">&ldquo;It&rsquo;s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.&rdquo;<\/strong> Opera singer Johnnie Felder and Cat Gal&aacute;n will reprise last year&rsquo;s show-stopping performance of <strong data-start=\"2926\" data-end=\"2943\">&ldquo;The Prayer,&rdquo;<\/strong> which earned a mid-show standing ovation. Felder will also deliver a powerful arrangement of <strong data-start=\"3037\" data-end=\"3055\">&ldquo;O Holy Night&rdquo;<\/strong> accompanied by the orchestra and The Columbia Choral Society.
