The bold, crowd-pleasing dish earned him a spot in the finals, where he impressed again with a <strong data-start=\"991\" data-end=\"1033\">Pesto &amp; Pimento Lobster Grilled Cheese<\/strong> served alongside <strong data-start=\"1051\" data-end=\"1086\">Coconut Curry Tomato Basil Soup<\/strong>. The inventive pairing secured his runner-up finish among elite chefs from around the globe.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1183\" data-end=\"1386\">This marks Williams&rsquo; <strong data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1225\">fourth appearance<\/strong> at the WFC and his <strong data-start=\"1245\" data-end=\"1285\">second time placing in the top three<\/strong>, further solidifying his reputation as one of South Carolina&rsquo;s most talented and innovative chefs.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1388\" data-end=\"1910\">\n<p data-start=\"1390\" data-end=\"1910\">&ldquo;Lake Murray Country is so proud of Chef Chris Williams and how well he continues to represent our region on a national stage,&rdquo; said <strong data-start=\"1523\" data-end=\"1538\">Amy Hoffman<\/strong>, Interim President and Bookkeeper of the <strong data-start=\"1580\" data-end=\"1647\">Capital City\/Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism Board (CCLMC)<\/strong>. &ldquo;His culinary creativity and natural Southern charm attract attention and leave a lasting impression.
