Classes meet twice a week at Transitions Homeless Center in downtown Columbia.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"405\" data-end=\"635\">The program focuses on practical employment skills&mdash;finding the right job match, completing applications, preparing for interviews, and staying focused during life&rsquo;s toughest challenges. But it&rsquo;s also about rebuilding confidence.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"637\" data-end=\"829\">&ldquo;There&rsquo;s a powerful misconception that people experiencing homelessness don&rsquo;t want to work,&rdquo; said instructor Ryan Munn. &ldquo;Most do&mdash;they just need someone to walk with them, not ahead of them.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"831\" data-end=\"1055\">By hosting the program at Transitions, participants avoid transportation hurdles and can start learning right where they live. The ultimate goal: better employment outcomes, increased income, and greater housing stability.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1057\" data-end=\"1187\">Volunteers are needed to greet students, hand out materials, and assist instructors.
