If you’re a left-handed golfer, you may have noticed there aren’t many pictures or swing tips in magazines geared specifically for you. But here’s a helpful trick: when right-handers look at photos of left-handed players, it’s like seeing themselves in a mirror! So whether you’re left- or right-handed, there’s something to learn here.<\/p>\n

Let’s talk fundamentals that can benefit all senior golfers:<\/p>\n

Shoulder Tilt:<\/strong> Since your lower hand is farther down the grip, your back shoulder (right for lefties, left for righties) should be slightly lower than the lead shoulder at setup. This isn’t just for comfort—it’s for proper swing mechanics.<\/p>\n

Spine and Hips:<\/strong> Your spine should tilt slightly toward the target. The back hip will naturally sit a little lower than the front, helping your lead arm and club shaft form a straighter line through the ball. This setup encourages solid contact and helps you avoid slicing.<\/p>\n

Foot Position:<\/strong> Point both feet slightly outward. This subtle move allows for a fuller, smoother shoulder turn—especially important for seniors who may not have the same flexibility they once did.<\/p>\n
