Lake Murray’s Independence Day Celebration 2025<\/strong> will light up the sky on Saturday, June 28<\/strong>, with its iconic fireworks display<\/strong> launched from Spence and Dreher Islands<\/strong>. The show begins at dark (around 9:15 PM)<\/strong> and is synchronized to patriotic music broadcast on 93.1 The Lake<\/strong>. You can also watch it live online at WIStv.com<\/strong> and catch a full televised replay on WIS News 10<\/strong> during primetime on July 4th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Each year, thousands take to the water to celebrate the red, white, and blue under the stars. Pro tip<\/strong>: the best view is by boat, but land-based viewers can enjoy the show from Dreher Island State Park<\/strong>, where Big Boys BBQ<\/strong> will be serving up delicious meals for both lunch and dinner.<\/p>\n

This community-loved celebration is made possible through proceeds from the Taste of Lake Murray<\/strong>, the sole fundraiser for the event.
