This year&rsquo;s event will feature <strong>Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford<\/strong> as the keynote speaker, focusing on the critical issue of <strong>domestic violence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Themed <strong>&ldquo;Face the Facts: Domestic Violence Is Beyond Skin Deep,&rdquo;<\/strong> the luncheon will include a panel discussion featuring <strong>Dr. Delores Dacosta<\/strong>, Executive Director of the SC Commission for Minority Affairs; <strong>Ashley Olayinka<\/strong>, CEO of The Hive Community Circle; and <strong>Stephanie Jacobs<\/strong>, Victim Advocate. Together, they will highlight the importance of confronting domestic violence and its deeper effects on the community.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to addressing domestic violence, the event aims to empower women by raising awareness of key health challenges such as <strong>Breast Cancer, HIV\/AIDS<\/strong>, and <strong>Mental Health<\/strong>. Attendees will also enjoy the popular <strong>&ldquo;Shoe Strut&rdquo; competition<\/strong>, which encourages women to &ldquo;stand taller, feel stronger, and walk longer.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit <strong>Coroners Campus<\/strong>, a program promoting awareness of forensic science.
