The event will take place on <strong>Saturday, June 29<\/strong>, featuring South Carolina&rsquo;s largest fireworks show, which will commence at <strong>9:30 PM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4>Spectacular Fireworks Display<\/h4>\n<p>The highlight of the celebration will be an awe-inspiring fireworks show, starting around 9:30 PM. Fireworks will be launched from two locations on the lake: <strong>Spence Island<\/strong> and <strong>Dreher Island<\/strong>, creating a breathtaking display visible from multiple vantage points. The fireworks will be synchronized with patriotic music broadcast on <strong>93.1 The Lake<\/strong>, enhancing the festive atmosphere.<\/p>\n<h4>Prime Viewing Locations<\/h4>\n<p>Public viewing is available at:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lake Murray Public Park<\/strong> sites at the Dam<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dreher Island State Park<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Both Lake Murray Dam Park sites, located in Irmo and Lexington, will remain open until they reach capacity. Due to ongoing construction at the Lake Murray Dam towers, there will be fewer parking spots available on the Lexington side, so plan to arrive early. <strong>Dominion Energy<\/strong> has implemented new safety protocols for visitors.<\/p>\n<h4>Live Broadcast and Entertainment<\/h4>\n<p>Radio station <strong>93.1 The Lake<\/strong> will be broadcasting live from Dreher Island State Park, playing the synchronized music for the fireworks and entertaining the audience. Standard fees will apply at all park sites, state parks, boat launching sites, and marinas around Lake Murray.<\/p>\n<h4>Event Support and Sponsorship<\/h4>\n<p>The fireworks display is made possible through the support of various sponsors and fundraising efforts, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lexington Medical Center<\/li>\n<li>Dominion Energy<\/li>\n<li>First Community Bank<\/li>\n<li>Palm Beach Tan<\/li>\n<li>Bentley Pontoons<\/li>\n<li>US FOODS<\/li>\n<li>DoubleTree by Hilton<\/li>\n<li>Trevett&rsquo;s<\/li>\n<li>Tidewater Boats<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Contributions from private donations and the <strong>Taste of Lake Murray<\/strong> fundraiser also play a significant role in funding the event.
