Moore Bradl<\/a>ey Myers <\/a>(MBM) Partner, Stanley Myers<\/a>, has been selected as a 2023 Leadership in Law Honoree<\/a> by South Carolina Lawyers Weekly. The annual award celebrates lawyers who are setting the standard for other lawyers and who have made an impact in their local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cStanley is a leader in our profession and in our firm,\u201d stated Christian Spradley<\/a>. \u201cHis spirit of giving back to his hometown of Swansea and across the Midlands region is unparalleled.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Myers deployed as a Captain with the 218th Infantry Brigade to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He is now a Lieutenant Colonel and serves as the Staff Judge Advocate (SJA) for the 59th Troop Command at McEntire Joint National Guard Base. As a military Judge, he serves in many roles, including, presiding over trials, interpreting military law, and assessing the presentation of evidence. \u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Citadel alumnus, and 4-year starting quarterback for the Bulldogs<\/a>, Myers was elected to the Citadel Board of Visitors. He also serves on the Lexington Medical Center Board of Directors. He is the founder of the Swansea Mentoring Program and hosts the town\u2019s Bike Bonanza<\/a> every Christmas. Myers opened Countryside BBQ<\/a> restaurant in Swansea in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Moore Bradley Myers, Stanley practices in the areas of military law, criminal law, insurance law, professional licensure disputes and personal injury law<\/a>. He was named Young Lawyer of the Year by the American Board of Trial Advocates and a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Myers was selected by his peers as a Super Lawyer and named to Midlands Legal Elite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
