In its 8th year, this event is a highly popular wine and food celebration with proceeds supporting the orchestra&rsquo;s artistic, education and community outreach programs. Tickets are $125 and include all food and libations. The event also boasts a silent auction, a cigar bar by Stoney Creek Cigars, beer by Swamp Cabbage Brewery and music by Flat Out Strangers. The event&rsquo;s grand level sponsor is Dick Dyer and Associates. Vaccinated guests are welcomed. Tickets may be purchased at www.scphilharmonic.com. <\/p>\n<p>With a solid history as a sold-out evening, Tasting Notes has been the SC Philharmonic&rsquo;s most successful and popular annual fundraising event of the last decade. &ldquo;Tasting Notes has become the signature wine and food festival in the Midlands,&rdquo; said Executive Director Rhonda Hunsinger. &ldquo;This event showcases some of the finest restaurants in our region, and a selection of outstanding wines from around the world &#8211; all while supporting the SC Philharmonic&rsquo;s programming in our community.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>This year&rsquo;s Tasting Notes promises to take attendees on a lavish tour of the senses with<br \/>libations and culinary delights from Columbia-area restaurant partners. The event will also serve as a celebration of the hardiness and spirit of the Midlands community. &ldquo;One of the unique characteristics of Tasting Notes is the SC Phil&rsquo;s relationship with our restaurant partners, vendors and wine distributors,&rdquo; said SC Philharmonic Development and Deputy Director Robin Hallyburton. &ldquo;They are not just business partners, but they are some of our strongest supporters and friends. This year&rsquo;s Tasting Notes will celebrate all of our resilience, perseverance and dedication to our community over the past two years.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>For the 2022 installment of Tasting Notes, restaurant partners include: 1801 Grille, Blue <br \/>Marlin Steaks and Seafood, Bourbon Columbia, Black Rooster, COA Agaveria and Cocina, Gervais and Vine, Hampton Street Vineyard, Hendrix, Market on Main, The Melting Pot, Miyo&rsquo;s\/M Vista\/ M Gourmet Group, Motor Supply Bistro, Ratio, Smoked and Tazza Kitchen.
