In a press conference on Friday, February 5, Miriam Atria, president and CEO of the Capital City\/Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism Board, announced that Lake Murray will sponsor the Major League Fishing Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit coming April 22-25, 2021 and the Boat US Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship, presented by Bass Pro Shops out of El Paso, Texas, will be here May 26-27, 2021 with 200 boats and college anglers from over 42 states.<\/p>\n
The Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit event will bring in more the $2.2 million dollars and there will be 24 hours of television coverage of the Lake Murray area on the Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel.<\/p>\n
