October 24–25 • Koger Center for the Arts
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Count Dracula and his legion of vampire maidens take the Koger Center stage as South Carolina Ballet presents its hauntingly beautiful production, Dracula: Ballet with a Bite, October 24 and 25.
Now in its 33rd season, the gothic masterpiece returns with a fresh infusion of artistry, featuring newly designed backdrops and enhanced stage effects.
“Even if you’ve seen the ballet before, you never know what’s new in our bag of tricks and treats,” said William Starrett, CEO and Artistic Director. “Dracula is more than just a story—it’s an invitation to explore the depths of desire and danger.”
Audiences will be drawn into the darkly romantic world of Count Dracula, his victims, and his mesmerizing reign of seduction and suspense.
Parental Guidance is advised. The performance includes strobe lighting and theatrical smoke effects, which may affect those with photosensitive epilepsy or light sensitivities.
