The Capital City/Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism Board has welcomed Annie Clark as its new Special Events Manager.
Clark brings years of experience in event planning, communications, and marketing. Before joining the tourism board, she served as the Event Manager at Columbia College, where she oversaw everything from institutional events and campus scheduling to external rentals and student programs.
“We are thrilled to welcome Annie to our growing team,” said Miriam Atria, President and CEO of the tourism board. “Her professionalism, creativity, and experience in event management will play a key role in helping us showcase the very best of our region.”
Clark earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina. Along with her event planning skills, she brings a strong background in customer service and strategic communications, which aligns well with the board’s mission to promote tourism and create meaningful experiences for visitors.
“I’m so excited to join Capital City/Lake Murray Country and contribute to such a dynamic and thriving region,” Clark said. “I look forward to working with the amazing team here to further enhance the visitor experience and spotlight everything Lake Murray Country has to offer.”
