The South Carolina Council on the Holocaust and USC’s Anne Frank Center will host a remembrance program honoring the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz on Saturday, January 27, at 10:30 a.m. at the Pastides Alumni Center in Columbia.

The event will feature keynote speeches from NBC’s Chuck Todd and South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster, along with spiritual reflections from local religious leaders. A special candle-lighting ceremony will also be held, led by children of Holocaust survivors.
