Lexington County narcotics agents have made a significant arrest following the execution of a search warrant at a Leesville residence, resulting in the seizure of a substantial amount of methamphetamine, marijuana, cash, and firearms.
Arromus Abney, 33, faces charges of trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana, as outlined in arrest warrants.
Miranda Lloyd, 26, is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, receiving stolen goods, and unlawfully placing a child at risk of harm, according to arrest warrants.
The investigation leading to the search warrant was prompted by controlled purchases of meth from both Abney and Lloyd. Agents executed the search warrant, discovering more than six pounds of marijuana, eight grams of meth, 10 firearms, drug distribution equipment, and over $12,000 in cash.
One of the seized firearms was reported stolen in Lexington County, stated Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon.
