Popular flotilla festival blends live entertainment and lake culture while supporting local youth programs<\/em><\/p>\n

LAKE MURRAY, S.C. — Reggaetronic<\/span><\/span> is bringing its signature mix of music and lake culture back to Lake Murray<\/span><\/span> with the return of Lake Murray Palooza on July 11 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.<\/p>\n

Set against the scenic backdrop of Fat Frogs Marina<\/span><\/span> (formerly Frayed Knot Marina), the one-of-a-kind outdoor festival will feature a diverse lineup of country, rock, southern rock, reggae, and live DJ performances staged both on land and across the water.<\/p>\n

Now recognized as one of the state’s most distinctive summer events, Lake Murray Palooza blends live music with boating culture, allowing attendees to access the festival by land or by lake. The format creates an immersive experience that highlights the recreational appeal and natural beauty of Lake Murray.<\/p>\n

A portion of proceeds from the event will benefit Gamechangers<\/span><\/span>, a nonprofit organization focused on providing faith-based summer camp opportunities and ongoing support programs for underprivileged children.<\/p>\n

New this year, organizers have expanded access with Beach Club land-entry tickets available through the event website, making it easier for those without boats to attend.<\/p>\n

“Reggaetronic is the longest-running flotilla festival in South Carolina, and we are proud to bring this unique floating music festival back every year,” said founder Ronnie Alexander<\/span><\/span>. “Last year, we welcomed more than 13,000 attendees and over 2,200 boats from 29 states. We’re excited to continue a tradition that celebrates friendship, fellowship and fun in the sun while showcasing the beauty of Lake Murray.”<\/p>\n

The 2025 event drew visitors from across the country and delivered a measurable economic boost to the Midlands, with local lodging at capacity and increased traffic for area businesses throughout the festival weekend.<\/p>\n
