{"id":6458,"date":"2024-09-10T16:01:21","date_gmt":"2024-09-10T16:01:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gpstrianglenews.com\/index.php\/2024\/09\/10\/sheriff-man-forced-teenage-girls-into-sex-acts-in-exchange-for-vaping-devices\/"},"modified":"2024-09-10T16:01:21","modified_gmt":"2024-09-10T16:01:21","slug":"sheriff-man-forced-teenage-girls-into-sex-acts-in-exchange-for-vaping-devices","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/gpstrianglenews.com\/index.php\/2024\/09\/10\/sheriff-man-forced-teenage-girls-into-sex-acts-in-exchange-for-vaping-devices\/","title":{"rendered":"Sheriff: Man forced teenage girls into sex acts in exchange for vaping devices"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><b><u><\/u>&nbsp;<u><\/u><\/b><\/div>\n<div>LEXINGTON, S.C. &ndash; Lexington County deputies have arrested a Little Mountain man accused of sexual activity with teen girls he lured to meet him with promises of vaping devices.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/div>\n<div><u><\/u>&nbsp;<u><\/u><\/div>\n<div>Trevor Grant Oty, 20, is charged with two counts of solicitation of a minor, and one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, and trafficking in persons, according to arrest warrants.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/div>\n<div><u><\/u>&nbsp;<u><\/u><\/div>\n<div>&ldquo;This case started when the mother of one of the victims reached out to us during the summer with concerns her daughter had been assaulted,&rdquo; Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. &ldquo;Detectives opened an investigation, which included forensic interviews with victims, and determined Oty would arrange to meet girls and exchange sexual favors for vaping devices.&rdquo;<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/div>\n<div><u><\/u>&nbsp;<u><\/u><\/div>\n<div>Two girls are associated with the charges against Oty, who was arrested Aug. 12,&nbsp;according to Koon.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/div>\n<div><u><\/u>&nbsp;<u><\/u><\/div>\n<div>&ldquo;There could be more victims than these two young ladies,&rdquo; Koon said. &ldquo;This case is still open and our investigation is ongoing.
