According to detention center records, Elders, 37, faces charges of first-degree harassment, misconduct in office, and the disclosure of confidential information.<\/p>\n<p>Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon stated, &#8220;When I became aware of Ms. Elders&#8217; actions, I immediately launched an internal investigation, and Elders resigned from her position as a deputy sheriff on Feb. 15 while that investigation was ongoing.
